Recently I decided to share with my viewers my coming out story and yes it has been done many times, but my story shares a tale of empowerment and courage. I grew up in a very small Minnesota town and went to a very small public school. I was outed in class one day after a series of events my sophomore year. From that point on I decided that I wouldn’t lie to myself or others anymore and I wanted to be true to who I was because I knew I could be strong enough to do just that. Making that choice was the greatest thing I could have ever allowed myself to do and it gave me so much strength from that day forward. I hope that people will take from this a feeling of strength and self appreciation of the power that we all possess for ourselves. I hope you enjoy!
